‘The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King’ (2003)
The basis of the story begins thousands of years before the events in the book, with the raising of its eponym – The Lord of the Rings, The Dark Lord Sauron – an ominous embodied spirit with great supernatural power.
At the end of the First Age (Tolkien) on Middle-earth, the supreme ruler of evil, Morgoth, was defeated and banished, who was originally considered one of the Valar, the „gods“ of the world. Sauron, one of the Mayars, who was only his servant at the time, managed to survive and escape exile, and began looking for ways to extend his power over Middle-earth. Disguised in a beautiful body form, under the name „Anatar“ (Lord of the Gifts), he taught Celebrimbor and the other elven blacksmiths of Eregion how to forge the Rings of Power – magic rings that give strength and skill to those who wear them, and have certain effects on them.
‘Avatar’ (2009)
Avatar is a 2009 American epicscience fiction film directed, written, produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. The film is set in the mid-22nd century when humans are colonizing Pandora, a lush habitable moon of a gas giant in the Alpha Centauri star system, in order to mine the mineral unobtainable, a room-temperature superconductor.The expansion of the mining colony threatens the continued existence of a local tribe of Na’vi– a humanoid species indigenous to Pandora. The film’s title refers to a genetically engineering Na’vi body operated from the brain of a remotely located human that is used to interact with the natives of Pandora.
‘Star Wars’ (1977-2019)
The story follows each generation of the Force-sensitive Skywalker family and their struggle against the evil Sith lord Palpatine (Darth Sidious). The prequel trilogy focuses on Anakin Skywalker, his training as a Jedi, and eventual fall to the dark side as Darth Vader. The original trilogy follows his children, Luke and Leia, as they join the Rebel Alliance and battle Vader, Palpatine and his Galactic Empire. The sequel trilogy features Ben Solo a.k.a Kylo Ren—the son of Leia and Han Solo, nephew of Luke, and grandson of Anakin—who seeks to rule the galaxy with Rey, the granddaughter of Palpatine and the last Jedi apprentice of Luke and Leia.
Pirates of the Caribbean (2003-2017)
Will Turner is a young blacksmith in love with Elizabeth Swann, the governor’s daughter. One night the city is attacked by the pirate ship „Black Pearl“, whose crew, led by Captain Hector Barbosa, is cursed for their greed to be neither alive nor dead. They seem to be ordinary people, but they cannot be killed, and they do not experience the pleasures of life, and the moonlight reveals their true nature – living skeletons. They capture the governor’s daughter, and the young Will Turner offers Jack to go together and get her out, but the pirate has reason to agree with him.
